Treatment of hypothyroidism
Levothyroxine is a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4) and is primarily used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition in which the thyroid gland doesn't produce enough thyroid hormone.

Is the CPhT a license?
No — CPhT is a voluntary national certification from PTCB or NHA, not a state license. State boards handle any separate pharmacy technician license or registration your state requires.
Do PTCB and NHA test the same five domains?
Yes. Both routes to the CPhT credential test the same content categories shown above — the domain list does not change between the PTCE and the ExCPT. Question count and timing differ by route, not the domain map.
